New York-based Italian-American artist Alicia Giangrisostomi was spotted on theatre, TV movies , short and features since 2007. Her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Florida University has allowed her to dance jazz, hip hop and ballet across the stage. Alicia has acted on SNL, appeared in SEEWATCHLOOK on Canal Brazil, and CALIGULA MAXIMUS and starred on the indie feature BATSH*T BRIDE.
”I’m really hoping to breakthrough into network TV this year with a good solid role”, said Alicia to www.MeetingVenus.com. ”If Broadway was calling my name, I’d jump on it although theater is a long commitment”. Although there are too many streaming platforms in the US, there are plenty or talented young artists, men and women, who are competing to be featured in new productions. According to Alicia: There’s far more roles available for men than for women. However, women artists exceeds especially in New York City. Across Brooklyn and New Jersey and all the surrounding areas, a lot of productions are taking place and so there are more upcoming opportunities.
Look for the upcoming short On BATSH*T BRIDE by writer-director Jonathan Smith. Alicia will play Becky who prepares to attend her friend’s wedding. However, it is “April Fools’ Day” and just before her wedding, the bride reveals that she is having second thoughts.
